THE OPPORTUNITY
Based at Melbourne Airport, we are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Store Manager to represent our team to the highest standards in all aspects of training and performance. This role requires effective leadership of the sales team and efficient management of business operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Inspire and motivate the Sales Managers and the team to maximize sales opportunities to achieve KPIs.
- Provide clear communication, feedback, and effective leadership to maintain high performance and quality customer experiences.
- Develop new sales strategies and implement action plans.
- Maximize store profit by increasing sales and maintaining cost control.
- Engaging with customers, including handling complaints and refunds.
- Ensure all team members are aware of company standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring full compliance and adherence to security, safety, and appearance guidelines.
You will be working in a fast-paced, customer centric environment with a friendly and diverse team.
ABOUT YOU
- 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Exceptional customer service and leadership skills
- Sales-focused and results-oriented
- Knowledge/experience of international brands and diverse categories of products
- Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- The ability to speak a second language will be highly regarded
- Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate

DETAILS OF THE ROLE
- Full time position
- 3 weeks rotating roster and availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays
