The Opportunity:
All Foods Market is currently seeking an experienced Store Manager to join their strong and successful team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a high volume independent supermarket. This role would suit a person that is enthusiastic, driven and someone looking to grow with the company.
Key accountabilities for the role include but are not limited to:
- Managing the daily ordering and operations of the Grocery department;
- The day-to-day operational matters in running and presenting the stores;
- Communicating with, Support office, suppliers, customers and the team to get results;
- Ensure adequate stock levels are always available within the grocery & store departments;
- Ensure that stock and fixture price marking and ticketing are of the highest standard;
- Training and developing the staff;
- Ordering and management of stock including minimizing waste;
- Rostering and other employee services;
Key skills and experience The successful applicant must have:
- Strong experience in a management position in a supermarket (preference for IGA);
- To be active – you’ll be on your feet for long periods of time and may require some moderate to heavy lifting and reaching;
- Meeting all legislative requirements in regard to compliance/audit standards.
This position is a 5-day working week including one day over the weekend.
