Store Manager / Buyer – Toyworld Townsville
Full Time (six month Contract with possibility of extension)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our team at our Toyworld store in Townsville. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, driving sales, managing inventory and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to maximize profitability and enhance the shopping experience for customers.
- Ensure efficient operation of the store, including managing inventory levels, stock replenishment, and merchandising.
- Manage the open-to-buy budget to maximize profitability while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Implement a weekly replenishing cycle to ensure timely replenishment of stock and minimize out-of-stock situations.
- Analyse product reports to track sales performance, identify trends.
- Manage roster that optimise sales within wages budget.
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation to showcase our products effectively.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, inventory, and customer satisfaction, taking proactive measures to address any areas of concern.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and professional development.
- Uphold company policies and procedures, including compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail management.
- Proven track record of driving sales and achieving targets in a retail environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of inventory management and retail operations.
