This is a great opportunity for a hands-on leader who has a love and passion for plants. You get to be surrounded by greenery and tranquility and have plenty of variety in your role. You will be running the day-to-day operations of the Garden Nursery, including managing the team, managing the stock, providing exceptional customer service, and providing valuable advice to your customers.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Day to day operations of the store
- Managing a team of up to 15 staff
- Plant management
- Rostering
- Managing and ordering stock
- Communication with suppliers, delivery drivers and customers
- Customer service
- Customer resolutions
You will be required to work 5 days a week including a Saturday or Sunday 9am - 5pm.
About You:
- Previous management experience (retail or hospitality ideal)
- Plant knowledge (advantageous)
- Ability to mentor, train, and guide staff
- Experience managing and ordering stock
- Great communication abilities
- People person
- Passion for green life
