Store Manager in Training - SA/NT

If you are a line manager who has completed the Stretch program in the last 3 years and who's looking to take the next step in your Kmart career, this program is for you. The Store Manager in Training program is designed as a technical and leadership upskill program, which supports the transition from Line Manager to Store Manager.About the program:In the Store Manager in Training program, SMITs will have the opportunity to enhance their leadership and technical abilities in readiness for a Store Manager position. The 6-month program will encompass participation in leadership and professional development courses, shadowing roles, engaging in on-the-job activities, and undertaking caretaking responsibilities. Additionally, you will receive guidance from both a mentor and a coach throughout the program.About You:You are a line manager with,Experience coaching and leading diverse teams, implementing business and individual development strategies.Values that reflect a high level of commitment to 'safety', always thinking 'customer' and a belief in constantly motivating your team to 'reach higher' every day.The ability to foster strong relationships with team members, peers, customers, leaders, and business stakeholders.Flexibility to transfer between stores will be required throughout the program and upon completion of your training.To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:

• You have completed the STRETCH program within the last 3 years.
• You have successfully completed a period of Store Manager caretaking.
• You have an active IDP.
• You have discussed and have approval to apply from your Store Manager.
