THE OPPORTUNITYAs a front-runner of our Whyalla Store, we seek a dynamic and passionate Store Manager responsible for the daily operations, sales, stock management and team leadership within the store. Reporting to the SA Retail Manager, you and your team will be efficient, organised and the go-to for Stratco’s loyal customers and internal sales teams; steadfast in finding out the needs of our customers and then present them with the best solutions. The Store Manager will lead by example, plan resources, be highly organised to ensure daily sales plans are achieved and a culture of safety maintained. Our products are the key to our success therefore product knowledge, design skills and an understanding of customer expectations are required, all of which can be delivered via our robust training programs. RESPONSIBILITIESGeneral store management activitiesLiaise directly customers, face to face and telephone salesWorking with sales & design systems to draft quotes &/or completed designs for customersStore merchandising and stock controlDeveloping rosters and training programmesFinancial accountability for the performance of the StoreAdhere to our critical safety rules & contribute to a safe working environmentABOUT YOURetail and/or Trade Outlet experience essentialStrong merchandising skills would be an advantageAbility to build your customer base and attract and manage trades businessHave a level of technical acumen to understand engineered productsPassionate about creating brand loyaltyPositive selling attitude with the ability to empower your team to sellA self-starter able to set goals and deliver sales targetsAbility to coach, mentor and develop your teamWillingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and paceThis is a permanent full-time position. Our Whyalla store operates 6 days per week, you will be required to work alternate Saturdays (9am - 2pm), no Sundays or public holidays.
