Purpose of the Role
As a part of our growth strategy, we have an opportunity for a Store Person, to join our Brisbane based business. This role reports to the Project Manager on site. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, hard-working, experienced Store Person with experience working on Commonwealth Contracts. World Fuel Services require a Store Person who has managed inventory in projects across a range of sectors and is seeking their next challenge in a renowned worldwide business.
Key Responsibilities
The Store Person is responsible for the successful co-ordination, Management, and delivery of Supply Services for the following types of Products in support of Deployable Bulk Fuel Distribution capability.
For this role, you will provide direct local Stores / Procurement support to the Project Team and global procurement stakeholders. Whilst assisting with the evaluation of suppliers to provide supply chain resilience and industry development opportunities to support Australian Industry Capability (AIC) initiatives as directed by the Subcontracts Manager or Procurement Manager.
Key Requirements:
- ≥ 5 years experience in Store/Warehouse Operations or a similar operating environment (preferably Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, Construction or Defence industry).
- Extensive knowledge of all realms of Supply Chain / Store Person Operations and Warehouse Operations/ Management (e.g., procurement, subcontracting, expediting, logistics, inventory management & material control).
- Must have current MHE License.
- Must have Current Drivers' License.
- Must have experience with loading and unloading Trucks and Containers.
- MR and HR License is desirable.
- Working with international suppliers including managing the international transportation and importation of goods & materials.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management skills.
