Symal Infrastructure are seeking expressions of Interest for multiple Store Person roles across Melbourne.

The role:

• Manage the main store facility where construction consumables, PPE and small tools will be issued to the project workforce
• Responsible for ensuring (coordination of) delivery and receipt of materials in any area the project will be operating (Receipt, Storage & Inventory) using the projects store database
• Pick and pull orders based on site requests
• Maintain minimum inventory records and ordering new goods when stock levels run low
• Effective communication skills and the ability to influence. 
• Have a good understanding of construction stores and warehouse layout and operations
• Organising and storing materials in designated storage areas, ensuring proper handling and storage conditions 
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment 
• Deliver goods to the various work sites

Who are you?

• Full Australian Drivers License
• Operators ticket for forklift/Telehandler would be an advantage.
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Office
• Knowledge of material management platforms preferred – advantage if they have experience with Tracbase system
• Effective communication skills and the ability to influence
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role with familiarity with construction materials, tools and equipment
