BJS WorkWear is a Newcastle-Hunter owned and operated business with currently 3 stores in the region.
We have over 15 years experience in the Workwear and Corporate uniform industry.
Due to recent growth, we are seeking a self-motivated individual to take on a casual role based at our Mayfield West branch, working Monday- Friday 8:30am-5pm. There is the potential for additional hours and career progression opportunities for the right candidate - NO WEEKENDS required!
Your main responsibility will be assembly and distribution of B2B customer orders, as well as completing (by picking and packing) any orders that come through from our valued clients. Your role will include occasional deliveries, current drivers license is a must.
Duties consist of warehouse work i.e unpacking/ packing boxes, garment and product allocation, assembling orders for decoration and finalisation of orders to the client.
We are looking for someone who can work independently and use their initiative, however you will still have support of the Store Manager and Team.
Ideally the successful candidate will have:
- Stock Handling experience
- Data entry skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- A passion for customer service
- Ability to lift up to 15kg as there is some heavy lifting required in this role
- Strong communication skills; written and verbal
- Current Drivers license
- Experience in Apparel Sales is desirable
- Experience using Business Central is desirable
