ABOUT THE ROLE
Toyo Tyre Australia Pty Ltd have a position available for a Store person in our Perth distribution centre at Welshpool, where the only inventory handled is rubber pneumatic tyres. This is a fulltime position on day shift working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM (actual hours to be determined at interview).
DUTIES
- Receive inventory shipments, hand unload shipping containers and put away stock.
- Pick and despatch customer orders.
- Rotate and transfer stock.
- Complete/submit transport consignment notes and manifests.
- Operate forklift.
- General warehouse duties.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with tyre warehouse experience being an advantage.
- The candidate needs to be physically fit, dependable, possess a good level of initiative and have an eye for detail.
- Previous experience with Transport Management Systems and Warehouse Management Systems would be advantageous.
- A forklift licence is essential for this role.
