ABOUT THE ROLE:We currently have two full-time and ongoing positions available to join the Institute as a
Store Person. The position of
Store Person will receive, store and distribute food and beverage requirements for the Institute’s various teaching programs. The position will also ensure product received matches purchase orders, maintain stock levels and conduct stock rotation and ensure all work and storage areas are left clean and tidy by end of day.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:- Completion of a relevant trade certificate or Year 12 with demonstrated relevant experience or, equivalent relevant experience and knowledge.
- Demonstrated knowledge of identification, storage and use of fresh, perishable, packaged and processed food and beverage and distribution.
- Previous experience and knowledge of stock inventory control systems, preferably Check SCM.
- Have a current Food Handlers Certificate or be willing to obtain the certificate.
- Ability to understand detailed instructions with attention to detail and work from procedures and be able to work autonomously from time to time.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and take directions in a safe and responsible manner.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Committed and take responsibility in the quality of their own work.
