Primary Focus
- Assist and partake in all rounds of Store Visits four times a year (Round One & Two Compliance Visits + National Visits: Mother’s Day & November/Christmas Visits)
- Supporting all Staff and Owners at store level, with the ability to train on all aspects of Catalogue & Compliance - Locally & Nationally
Functional responsibilities
COMPLIANCE VISITS OR SIMILAR
- Visit all stores (across the country, if required) twice a year making sure they comply to company standards in all elements of Stock Management, Catalogue & Compliance, General Merchandising and Everyday Operations
- Complete an assessment assessing the above criteria and delivering results to Owner/s, Retail Manager/Coordinator and/or PIC and coming up with solutions and support plans to improve if required
- Help prepare for SOS Compliance Visits – Schedule, supporting documents, App preparation, assessment form, communication to stores etc
- Help to collate all feedback post Compliance Visits and come up with realistic action plans
- Assist with all travel bookings for all staff (including interstate team members)
NATIONAL STORE VISITS
- Visit all stores (across the country, if required) prior to Mother’s Day & Christmas ensuring stores are ready to tackle to two biggest retail months of the year – Assessing all elements of the business alongside key stakeholders
- Help prepare for National Store Visits – Schedule, supporting documents, App preparation, assessment form, communication to stores etc
- Help to collate all feedback post National Store Visits and come up with realistic action plans alongside other departments
- Assist with all travel bookings for all staff (including interstate team members)
STORE SUPPORT – TRAINING AND GENERAL SUPPORT
- Assist stores/staff with day to day operations in between Store Visit periods
- Conducting Catalogue and Compliance training programs with key staff at required stores (including preparation of all documentation)
- Help train SOS team members on how to implement Catalogue & Compliance training programs
- Work closely with different level of staff at store level and key stakeholders to deliver exceptional services across the business
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with all stores, DCs, departments and their management and staff
- Provide quality information to the Store Support Manager – Compliance in all areas of responsibilities
- Provide assistance and support to other members of the team in performance of their roles and responsibilities
- As and when required, undertake additional projects or activities as directed by management
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 5 years’ experience at store level, with minimum 3 years in a Retail Manager role
- Good working knowledge of Catalogue & Compliance and moderate to immediate ordering knowledge
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to make major decisions in conjunction with Store Support Manager
- A preparedness to take the initiative and a strong desire to achieve results
- A mentoring / coaching style with the ability to transfer skills and knowledge
- Work under pressure and high stress environment
