Storeperson

Our client who is based in Welshpool are a US and Australian manufacturer and supplier to the hydraulic drill industry and are currently looking for an experienced Storeperson to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
 
The Role:
Reporting directly into the Supply Chain Manager, this role will see you responsible for ensuring that goods are received and dispatched in a timely and accurate manner.  In addition to this, you will need to ensure parts are available to trade personnel as required and that the warehouse runs efficiently.
 
Other duties will include but not limited to:

• Unloading of incoming parts, components and consumables
• Picking and packing goods for dispatch
• Assist with scheduled stocktakes
• Alert appropriated departments when stock levels are low for consumables
• Dispatching of sales orders
• Arrange and coordinate various couriers and transport companies to ensure the timely operation of freight requirements whilst limiting costs
• As directed by the Supply Chain Manager, coordinate maintenance of warehouse plant and equipment including forklifts

 
This position will see you working Mon - Fri with a minimum of 8-hours per day. Your salary will be circa $70,000 - $72,000 per annum + super with opportunity for additional paid hours. You will incur all leave entitlements including sick pay, holiday pay etc..
 
To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate the following:

• Solid working history in logistics / stores / warehouse
• Experience working in manufacturing environment
• Current Forklift License
• Current Drivers License (HR is a bonus)
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to pick up on different systems
• Previous experience working with an ERP system (SAP, PRONTO, ORACLE etc)
• Be physically fit and able to pass a full pre-employment medical including drug / alcohol screen
