We currently have a vacancy for a store person within our growing warehouse team. The warehouse is currently based in Herston but will be relocating to Carol Park in the next 2-3 months.
The role is a full-time position, working Monday - Friday. The salary offered is $65-70k plus superannuation, depending on experience.
Role
Working in a small team and reporting to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, the role will involve:
- lifting and manual handling of stock;
- dispatch of orders including picking, packing and assembly of products;
- goods receivable duties;
- operating a forklift;
- processing sales orders in a computer system;
- determining freight costs for sales orders dispatch;
- creating consignments and booking freight pick ups in a computer system; and
- maintaining an organised and clean warehouse at all times.
Candidate
The successful applicant will have.
- a positive and friendly personality with a can-do attitude,
- attention to detail,
- good computer skills, and
- excellent organisational skills to ensure that the warehouse and paperwork is managed in an efficient manner.
A forklift license and some warehousing experience is desirable, and a forklift license will need to be obtained by the successful candidate if they do not have one already.
