Come and discover the opportunity to join our Metalcorp business in our Dandenong team as a Storeperson. Metalcorp is a leading rural Australian steel distributor, supplying brands for the land through our branches and stockists across Australia.

You'll join our dedicated small team in supporting our warehouse operations, ensuring our products and solutions are delivered in a safe and timely manner for our customers. You’ll  receive ongoing training and support to learn all aspects of the role allowing for future career development opportunities.

What Will You Do?

In this hands-on and varied role where you will learn and be responsible for receiving and storing materials, assembling and loading orders, and dispatch duties, you will also:

• safely loading and unloading of trucks and assisting with customer pickups
• operate forklifts, cranes and other machine processing equipment
• pick and pack from stock on-site to create specific orders
• be responsible for the safety of yourself and your co-workers
• meet and greet with our valued customers
• ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through your service levels

• the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• high level of attention to detail
• ability to think on your feet providing safe and workable solutions
• comfortable with using computers and learning our inhouse systems
