The Opportunity
Come and discover the opportunity to join our BlueScope Distribution business in our Gladstone team as a Driver/Storeperson. BlueScope Distribution is a single-source provider of steel and aluminium product, processing and service solutions. The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification. BlueScope Distribution supports its customers by helping them find the freedom to do what they do best.
The Driver Storeperson supports our warehouse operations in ensuring our products and solutions are delivered in a safe and timely manner for our customers through safely assisting in packaging, loading, restraining loads, driving a purpose-built truck and assisting in unloading customer deliveries.
This role has a Monday-Friday 38-hour work week, allowing for work/life balance and free weekends. Enjoy a competitive salary package including participation in our Profit Share Program (bonus). What Will You Do?
Whilst contributing to a safe working environment, this role will see you:
- drive a purpose-built heavy combination (Semi) delivery truck
- safely loading and unloading our products on and off trucks
- operate remote control gantry cranes, forklifts and process machinery
- accurately pick and pack orders to prepare for customer delivery
- general warehousing and dispatch duties

Being a reliable and dedicated individual with a willingness to learn and develop yourself, you will also bring:
- previous truck driving experience and a Heavy Combination (HC) license
