Due to the continual growth of our organisation, we are actively seeking applications for warehouse all-rounder to cover the Day shift based in Fyshwick.
Overview
Reporting directly to the Shift Manager, this is a full-time position that involves stock receival, storage and picking & packing customer orders on day-to-day basis. If you have worked in a food industry/warehouse before, consider yourself physically fit, and have a valid forklift licence, this position could be for you.
Your day-to-day routine will look something like this:
- Stock receival, storage, and replenishment.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders
- Assemble customers' orders and stack pallets correctly.
- Checking orders and raising discrepancies.
- Load/unload vehicles with a forklift and zippy units.
- General cleaning & housekeeping duties as required.
- Other warehouse duties as assigned by the manager.
All about you:
- Must hold a valid forklift license.
- Minimum 1-year experience working in FMCG/food service environment preferred but not essential.
- Have prior experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment (advantageous).
- A good understanding of HACCP requirements will be beneficial.
- Understand all aspects of OH&S compliance.
- Practice safe and correct manual handling at all times.
