A down to earth and friendly person is required to join our growing wholesale business located in Stirling. The ideal candidate will be well presented and well-spoken, and have an enthusiastic approach to their role. Previous warehouse or storeperson experience is preferred, however possessing a positive attitude and approach may outweigh experience.
This is a busy and varied role in the warehouse, and requires a physically capable person to undertake the necessary workload. The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a small team is vital. Leadership roles may be available longer term within the business, so strong communication is advantageous. The role is permanent and Full time, 5 days per week (Monday to Friday), and the warehouse is a clean and tidy environment, open to trade customers only. Occasional overtime is available, particularly in peak trading periods between October and December.
Working in a small business environment it is essential to be a team player, have a flexible attitude, and to contribute across the broader business as required. Some computer experience is an advantage, as is a current forklift licence. A valid driver's licence is essential.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Picking and packing customer orders for daily despatch;
- Receipting and checking in stock for inward goods;
- Shelf filling and maintaining warehouse stock levels;
- Unloading containers;
- General customer assistance in the warehouse;
- Delivery driving; and
- Ongoing stocktakes.
