Swick Mining are seeking an experienced Storeperson based at our South Guildford site on a full-time basis. This role is an integral part of Swick’s Supply department, responsible for servicing our site-based operations and maintenance teams nationwide.
The Role
As Storeperson, your duties will include:
- Picking and packing goods (heavy lifting involved)
- Goods receiving and shipment sorting
- Maintenance of stock records and labelling of stock
- Restocking shelves on a daily basis and assisting in monthly stocktakes
- Maintaining a tidy, organised and hazard free work area
- Operating Forklifts and hand operated tools
The Candidate
To be considered for this position, the following criteria MUST be met:
- Valid Driver’s license
- LF - Forklift Ticket
- Ability to pass a full Pre-Employment medical, including a drug & alcohol screen
- Ability to provide a current National Police Clearance upon request
- 2+ Years' experience is a similar position (Warehouse/Stores)
- The ability to work under pressure and meet designated deadlines
- Possess a positive attitude and be a team player
- Be confident in working with minimal Supervision
