An industry leader in our field, Hahn Electrical Contracting services major clients in the mining industry. We are looking for an experienced Stores Person to join our company in a casual part-time position.
The position:
Reporting to the purchasing manager this position is located in our Welshpool operation and is offered on a casual basis. This role would suit someone looking for part-time work as it offers approximately 20 hours per week.
Previous exposure to the Electrical industry and experience with computerised stock systems will be an advantage.
Duties of this position will include, but are not limited to:
- Receipting and dispatching of all items through the stores
- Maintain stores records/data and quantity in the system
- Monitor and carry out all deliveries going to customers and coming from suppliers, ensuring all items are delivered and/or receipted accurately
- Participate in stock takes and audits of the stores
- General warehouse duties
The ideal candidate will have:
- Good communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work meticulously
- A motivated working attitude and able to work well in a team as well as independently.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a timely manner
- Forklift Licence - Essential
- Current Clean Manual Drivers Licence - Essential
