In the role of Storeperson Material Logistics, it will see you working with a small effective and dedicated group of people. Located within the Inventory department of QantasLink, this role is designed to support the implementation and maintenance of world’s best practice for warehousing, distribution and logistics.
You will –
Ensure Sydney requests are processed, and any issues are forwarded to the Purchasing Co-ordinator or Rotable Co-ordinator
Maintain a high level of accuracy with Stock Control
Liaise with the Planning Department on possible nil stock for upcoming nightly checks
Ensure required Maintenance stock is in correct locations
Manage timely processing of all warehouse requirements
Monitor operational requirements in different parts of the warehouse with the ability to reprioritise demands to meet customer requirements
Ensure Work Scopes are carried out for SYD and ADL daily.
Provide high quality service to the Planning, Purchasing and Engineering Departments
Work as a valued member of a high performing team and supporting other team members where required
Accurately carry out transactions as per the M&L Internal Procedure Manual
Comply with the Corporate Occupational Health and Safety Responsibilities Standard.
Provide input into continuous improvement processes to ensure continual improvement in productivity, efficiency and overall viability.
Hold a current Motor Vehicle License (and an ADA - desirable but not essential)
Currently hold or be willing to obtain a Dangerous Goods license
Have previous experience in a warehousing environment, confident with inventory control
