The ideal candidate will have prior experience in store/warehouse management and workshop material handling and a strong understanding of safety procedures within the steel or associated industry.Qualifications/Experience/Attributes:Prior stores/warehouse experience, including goods receivable/stock control.Workshop material handling experience.Minimum of three months' experience within the steel or associated industry.Effective time management skills.Forklift Ticket (training can be provided for the right applicant).Crane Ticket (CN or better).Desirable Qualifications/Experience:Additional tickets and training include Overhead Crane/Confined Space, Dogman, etc.Medium Rigid Truck Licence.Responsibilities:Undertake responsibility for the Storeperson/Materials Handler function in accordance with our client's QA System Procedures.Complete responsibility for the timely receipt and accuracy of all incoming deliveries to company premises.Accurate and timely allocation, control, and recording of all materials required for jobs.Daily pre-start checks of forklifts, trucks, and overhead cranes.Effectively coordinate and undertake deliveries and collections of materials off-site when required.Maintain system records for consumables, plant, and equipment.Ensure the store areas are clean, tidy, and hazard-free.Work Hours:Mon-Thur: 5:45 am to 3:15 pmFri: 5:45 am to 12:15pmAdditional overtime as requiredWhat do you need to do now?If you believe your skills & experience match the above criteria and you are a leader in safety, please apply to CrewSELECT via the "apply now" link.
