- Permanent Full Time - 80 Hours Per Fortnight + ADO

About the role
The Supply Department is the principal purchasing, warehousing and distribution Centre for Alfred Health.
The Department is tasked with the provision of all supplies in a timely, efficient and error free environment meeting all applicable standards and with optimal risk management.
To provide the Supply Department with warehousing support and to ensure the efficient flow of work through the Supply Department.
Duties
- Participate fully in the work of the Supply Department.
- Ensure Alfred Health is able to continue to provide the highest quality patient care
- Ensure that the requirements of wards and departments are issued on requisition or imprest as required by Supply procedures
- Goods receipting in the system.
- Perform clerical functions associated with general Supply duties specifically including the competent use of Supply computer systems.
- Perform all Supply duties in a polite and courteous manner
Skills & Experience
- Excellent communication skills
- High personal integrity
- Hold a current licence to operate a fork lift truck (preference)
- Proven experience in the warehousing environment
- Have a current driver’s license and must be able to drive the Alfred supply truck (Manual Transmission)
- Minimum of Year 11 education
- Basic computer skills
