Description
The Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of the warehouse by performing a variety of tasks related to stock management, order fulfillment, and general maintenance. Key areas of responsibilities include:
- Pick stock according to picking slips.
- Create and utilize bin locations for efficient stock management.
- Package products and prepare stock for orders.
- Operate a forklift to move stock and pallets.
- Receive stock and process delivery dockets accurately.
- Offload pallets and organize them within the warehouse.
- Conduct stock counts to maintain quality control.
- Liaise with couriers regarding stock and order shipments.
Profile
Candidates for this position should meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of three years experience in a similar warehouse environment.
- Have full working rights (Australian citizen or Permanent Resident)
- Possess a valid forklift license (or desire to obtain) and relevant experience.
- Ability to handle the physical demands of a fast-paced work environment.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Effective communication skills and intermediate computer proficiency are required.
- Familiarity with PRONTO, Excel, and external dispatch systems is preferred.
