What we are looking for:
Due to company growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and driven individual to join our warehousing team as a Storeperson with immediate start available in our Wivenhoe premises.
Reporting to Operations Manager - Tasmania, our ideal candidate will enjoy being part of a team that has a passion for delivering great customer service outcomes.
If you are keen to learn, possess a strong work ethic and are interested in developing your career in a role that offers challenge and variety, then this is the role for you. As part of the role, the successful candidate will travel to client mine sites and product training will be provided.
The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Picking and packing orders which involves collecting products and getting them ready for dispatch.
- Unloading delivery vehicles and unpacking the contents of packages.
- Checking incoming goods against orders and inspecting them to ensure they are free of damage.
- Putting stock away in designated locations.
- Using warehouse machinery, such as forklifts, vehicles and tools.
- Performing regular stocktaking duties both on site and in our Wivenhoe warehouse.
- Complying with safety regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
What you'll need to succeed:

Critical success in this role will be:
- Minimum two (2) years' experience in warehouse operations.
- Knowledge and experience of warehouse management software and experience with computer-based inventory systems.
- A current forklift licence.
- A valid full ‘C’ Class driver’s licence.
- Ability to manage own workload in a small team environment.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable criteria:
- Certificate in Warehousing Operations.
- Mine site experience.
- Experience with mining/engineering products.
