About The Role
Select Plant Australia is currently recruiting for an experienced Storeperson. This role will be located at the Select Plant Australia – Maitland Depot on a full-time basis.
It involves being responsible for efficiently managing material coordination, data input, and communication with site personnel. This role encompasses maintaining stock accuracy, operating light machinery, and ensuring compliance with safety standards while demonstrating flexibility in performing various duties within their skill set.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the dispatch and receipt of materials, ensuring accurate stock maintenance
- Input data into systems and complete paperwork with precision
- Communicate effectively with site personnel, including the plant and procurement team, regarding goods and materials requirements
- Demonstrate knowledge of equipment, tools, and machinery relevant to the workshop
- Adhere to workplace flexibility by performing duties within assigned and lower groups, ensuring compliance with safety and statutory requirements
About You
In order to be considered for the role, you'll need to hold the minimum requirements below:
- Previous experience in materials coordination and stock maintenance within the construction and/or heavy machinery industry
- Previous experience in operating and understanding various equipment, machinery and tools within the construction industry
- Forklift Ticket
- Australian Driver's Licence - Manual C Class (minimum)
- Australian Construction Induction Card (Blue/White Card)
- Able to complete and pass a pre-employment medical
