Store person with Forklift Licence Required
An established business within the Adelaide market that provides products across multiple sectors, including industrial manufacturing, renewables and agriculture is looking to add to their team by on-boarding experienced forklift operators with well-rounded stores experience. They currently have opportunities on the day shift working 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday. The warehouse is based in the Western Suburbs but would suit candidates with reliable personal transport as there is parking on site. These positions are a maximum 38 hours a week with part-time hours unavailable in these ongoing positions, so applications are required from candidates with unrestricted work rights in Australia.
Your new role
We are seeking applicants with proven practical experience on a forklift (LF) and experience using a reach truck to undertake general warehouse duties. These will include pick-packing, stock control, stock replenishment and general housekeeping in a team environment. These roles will suit energetic candidates who have experience in fast-paced industries who are used to working with speed and accuracy as you will be working as a part of a small team.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidates will be well organised, possess accurate attention to detail as well as strong numerical skills. Sound computer skills will be an advantage, as will the ability to be hands on in your approach, as you will be spending most of your time in a store person role and working with a gas forklift when required. These roles will require you to liaise with small internal teams and work with unbalanced loads, so a candidate’s ability to communicate effectively is necessary as you may be required to manoeuvre in tight spaces. Successful applicants may be required to have a recent police check and undertake a drug and alcohol test prior to commencement.
What you'll get in return
For the right candidates, this is an opportunity to work in an ongoing casual position for a company that prides themselves on their diversity, team work and quality of service.
