Your Team
Your new role sits within the Sales Strategy & Engagement team, which is a national team responsible for dedicated sales and engagement strategies to be executed via direct engagement or via our various sales teams across Distribution.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Sales Strategy & Optimisation, you will have key internal relationships across New Business, State Platforms and Investment whilst working closely with the Group Executive, Distribution and other business units such as our Product team.
This is a national role which could be based in New South Wales, Victoria or Queensland.
Your Responsibilities
The Strategic Partnerships Manager is responsible for developing and managing Strategic Partnerships with CFS's platinum licensee groups. This is a crucial role in understanding the strategies of partner organisations and identifying associated opportunities across CFS's business lines.
You will drive successful outcomes by:
Gaining a deep understanding of the strategy, goals and objectives of partner organisations and identifying alignment with CFS's business lines and opportunities for collaboration
Developing and executing strategies to optimise partnerships, including cross-functional opportunities to enhance sales and advocacy
Building and maintaining strong relationships with partner organisations
Working with the Performance and Insights team to track the effectiveness and impact of Strategic Partnerships and provide insights and recommendations for improvement
Conducting market research to identify potential new partners, and staying updated on industry trends and the competitive landscape
Your Capability and Experience
Thorough understanding of how platform, investment, retail, institutional and superannuation markets work from an industry perspective and as they relate to CFS
Experience developing successful strategic sales plans, with the ability to identify and contextualise changes in the industry landscape in relation to opportunities for CFS and our clients
Proven communication skills and ability to build relationships up to executive level, both within CFS and our strategic account partners
Ability to collaborate across CFS and externally to align approach to execute on strategy through events and partnership implementation
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Relevant tertiary qualifications with a minimum RG146 (essential)
