Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize in-depth knowledge and experience in Temporary Works design, covering structural decommissioning, formwork, falsework, scaffolding, and temporary support structures.
- Proficiently analyse and design temporary structures to withstand construction loads and temporary construction loads.
- Coordinate with construction teams to develop practical and efficient Temporary Works solutions that align with project requirements and construction schedules.
- Ensure compliance with relevant design codes and standards, including AS 2601, AS 1657, AS 3610, AS 4100, and AS 5100, to enable safe and effective Temporary Works.
- Assess construction methods and sequences to derive Temporary Works design and construction processes, optimizing project delivery.
- Apply strong understanding of construction techniques and practices, including construction materials and methods, to develop innovative solutions.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of successfully delivering Temporary Works and construction engineering projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Extensive experience in Temporary Works design and construction engineering, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions.
- Proficiency in relevant design software and tools, such as SAP2000, ETABS, and AutoCAD.
