Structural Engineer

Our client is a leading supplier of materials, their design application and sign-off specialising in residential high rise apartments.

Your Role

• Technical support
• Attending weekly design meetings
• Seismic design
• Overseeing all Structural Engineering design queries issues and problem solving both internally and with external consultancies
• Site inspections and site meetings
• Liaising with others relevant professionals (engineers, architects, builders, consultants, plumber, mechanical, electrical, fire etc) on all active projects
• Customer support through phone call and emails etc

About You

• a minimum of a Bachelor of Engineering (most likely Civil) with specialisation in Structural Engineering
• around 3 to 5 years of post graduation experience, ideally in the Australian construction industry as understanding of Australian building codes is important
• ideally experience in seismic engineering design
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
• A track record of working in a fast paced team environment
• Willing to challenge the status quo, to innovate, and look for smarter
  ways of doing things
