WSP Property and Buildings Structures group have an exciting role for a Structural Engineer to join our growing team in Brisbane.

Our Building Structures group are a specialist team renowned for their innovation in structural engineering and cutting-edge BIM project execution across high-rise and complex building structures and infrastructure projects, with offices in every major city across Australia. What you’ll do

As a Structural Engineer you will:

  • Support timely and quality of delivery for project and structural engineering work in
  • Establishing effective stakeholder relationships internally with colleagues and senior members of the business;
  • Have the opportunity to act as Project Lead on small projects;
  • Support senior engineers and project leaders with quality structural engineering solutions;
  • Embody enthusiasm to work as part of a collaborative, national team within a multidisciplinary design setting.

About you

The successful candidate we are looking for will have:

  • Bachelor to Master level degree in Engineering (Civil/ Structural Engineering);
  • Passionate about Structural Engineering with a desire for excellence in design
  • Typically 2 to 3+ years’ experience on large Australian building structures engineering projects;
  • Exposure across a range of building sectors, e.g., transport, health, commercial, defence;
  • Track record of collaborating effectively with colleagues intra/cross-discipline on projects;
  • Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills;
  • Proficiency with SPACEGASS, ETABS, RAPT, RAM Concept
  • Familiarity with BIM, NavisWorks and Revit Structure (advantageous)
