About the roleThe role of the VET Careers and Pathways Leader is to support the delivery of programs to young people in an alternative school setting. As a member of the school leaderships team the VET Careers and Pathways Leader will work collaboratively to promote the achievement of learning outcomes and pathway progression.About you
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of high quality teaching programs
  • Demonstrated knowledge of VET programs
  • Demonstrated experience using flexible innovative teaching and assessment strategies, including the development and use of learning resources
  • Demonstrated experience linking education and training with industry and/or employment pathways
  • Demonstrated understanding of the barriers faced by young people
  • Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable and disengaged young people from diverse backgrounds
You will hold:
  • Tertiary qualifications in education
  • VIT registration ( Preferred )
  • Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (TAE) desirable
  • Hold a valid and current approved Victorian Driver's License with access to a reliable car
  • Currently hold, or be willing to undertake, certifications including a Working with Children Check, first aid, Australian Right to Work Check, and National Police Check
