We have an exciting opportunity for a Student Engagement Coordinator to engage students in exciting College and community events, lead key activities like Orientations, Exams, and Graduations. As a vital part of our Student Services team, you'll manage student surveys, and handle post enrolment processes in collaboration with the team.
Evaluate and improve processes in consultation with the National Campus Director and the Student Services Manager.
Responsibilities
- Work in liaison with other members of the Student Services team to provide organisational assistance to:
- Link students with external social events, including those conducted by Study Adelaide
- Promote the development of the College student groups by providing guidance and mentoring to members
- Increase opportunities for the student body to engage in representation opportunities and decision-making processes within College
- Actively seek opportunities to increase real engagement opportunities for students and advance the notion of best practice Student Engagement
- Develop and maintain networks within the Higher Education sector aimed at increasing access for College students to connect with local communities
- Organise and deliver presentations to students when required
- Provide general administrative support for the Student Services Team
- Manage and update the Student Services Hub
- Demonstrate understanding of the Australian and New Zealand Education systems (essential)
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint (essential)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, if required
- Ability to foster good relationships with stakeholders including The University of Adelaide
- Excellent presentation skills
- Attention to detail
- Results-orientated, ambitious and highly self-motivated
- Direct knowledge or experience of the international education sector (desirable)
