Student Futures Specialist

Part-time (0.8FTE), ongoing position
This is an opportunity to help our students prepare for the world of work, by linking career and subject choice to independent learning. The Student Futures Specialist educates, counsels and supports students about future pathways, and provides information and resources to assist them to plan their future vocational direction and opportunities in post-school life.

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

A comprehensive understanding of the Tertiary system (both within Australia and overseas)
A strong technical understanding of the ATAR and tertiary entrance requirements
A willingness to care for and connect with students, parents and staff
Excellent communication
Proficiency in the use of digital technologies
Willingness to work collaboratively
Applicants must hold a current VIT registration or Working With Children Check clearance and have the right to live and work in Australia
