What’s the job? 
Reporting to our Senior Student Records and Compliance Officer, the Student Records Compliance & ESOS Coordinator will be responsible for providing high level administrative support and coordination. This includes reporting of critical Compliance and administrative tasks associated with a student’s records.

This role has a strong focus on our ESOS monitoring, and the successful candidate must have great accuracy of data & compliance of our internal policies, processes and procedures, as well as any external regulatory requirements. 

Day-to-day accountabilities: 
This is a pivotal role, to making sure all our ESOS Compliance andStudent Records. In this role, you will be: 

  • ESOS monitoring and actioning including COE expiry, visa expiry and changes, online enrolment loads for international students, maintenance of all details for returning students in PRISMS, update change of details in PRISMS & Banner, COE extension, Leave of absence and withdrawal applications. 

  • Quality check and control the accuracy of Student Records data and provide a continuous improvement feedback approach to student support staff. 

  • Monitor and action alerts on PRISMS. 

  • Ensure accuracy of student data on PRISMS through regular audits and comparison reports. 

  • Identify training needs regarding Compliance and SIS and communicate/escalate to manager. 

For our external candidates, you must be based at Sydney and it requires you to be on campus at Surry Hills, which is literally 2 minutes walking from Central Station. 

For our internal team members, we encourage you to apply for this role even if you are not located in Sydney. You would be able to be based at any of our current campuses across Australia and New Zealand.  

Note: This role requires you to hold full time working rights in Australia. This role does not offer visa sponsorship opportunities.  

Who you are 

To be successfully considered for this role, we believe you must have:  

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience within an administration or support role in an education environment, with a tertiary qualification preferred but not essential. 

  • Working Skills: Proven organisational skills with an ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while working under pressure, with a high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality. This also requires you to have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

  • Technical Skills: You must have an excellent written and verbal communication skills. Also due to the technicality of data management, you must be proficient in Microsoft Excel. Expertise on PRISMS, MS Dynamics and Banner is preferred.  

  • Commitment to achieve: you must have strong time management skills, fostering strong relationships with the rest of the team and across all departments based on trust, respect, collaboration, constructive feedback and flexibility to support other team members
