We seek qualified HV Substation Electrical Tradespersons to join our friendly and spirited field crews, working safely to perform critical maintenance works, resolve complex problems, and upgrade our network to deliver safe and reliable electricity to over 5 million Queenslanders.

About you
Travelling to substations and working closely with team members, you will enjoy variety in your work, complex problem solving, and have a passion for providing high quality outcomes. Crucial to your success in this role is a background in safely maintaining, constructing and operation High Voltage electrical substation equipment.
You hold a current Qld Electrical Fitter / Mechanic licence, current LVR & CPR certification, Elevated Work Platform high risk work licence, plus a "C" class driver’s licence. Noting that Powerlink may support you in acquiring some of these on the job. Crucial to your success in this role, will be your background in safely maintaining, constructing and operating High Voltage electrical substation equipment with a Transmission, Distribution or large-scale Contractor organisation.

Working a 9-day fortnight with RDO’s every second Monday, you will be required to execute work locally in and around the Brisbane and SEQ, occasionally travelling across Queensland, Paid overtime hours and allowances are applicable, plus you will work with a collaborative and supportive team, along with leaders who genuinely care about your well-being and work-life balance!
