This is a part-time dental assisting/receptionist role (Tuesday - Friday, 8am-5pm) where you will be working with a small close-knit and very friendly prosthodontic team. The role will involve 2-4 days (by negotiation) of nursing and reception. Up to two days nursing and two days on reception. We are located in the heart of Subiaco and free on site parking is available to staff. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Chair-side assisting
- Sterilization and infection control
- Ordering, Tracking & Stocking
- Reception Duties
About you
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Certificate III/IV in Dental Assisting
- Have at least two-years experience as a Dental Assistant
- Have front office/reception experience
- Have great communication and patient interaction skills
- Be a team player, supportive of other staff and willing to undertake multiple roles where required
- Be organized, resourceful and intuitive
- Be able to follow practice policies and protocols
- Have the willingness to learn and grow in the role
Experience in implants and surgery is desirable.
This role would suit someone who is outgoing, organized and keen for an interesting and rewarding term career in the dentistry. Hourly rate between $25-$35 initially dependent on experience.
