Responsibilities:
- Oversee compliance obligations and administrative requirements for a portfolio of over 200 SMSF clients
- Review financial statements, electronic working papers, and tax returns
- Mentor and train junior team members on technical, software, and operational matters
- Maintain client relationships, attending meetings as needed and serving as the key contact
- Collaborate with auditors on technical and compliance matters
- Provide valuable technical SMSF guidance to internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute actively to driving continual improvement, efficiency, and growth
- Act as the main liaison between the offshore team and stakeholders, offering real career progression opportunities
Skills and Experience:
- CA/CPA qualified or actively pursuing the designation
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in SMSF compliance and technical aspects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Commercially minded with a drive to advance your career
- Experience with Class super is desirable
- Australian PR/Citizen
