Are you mad for fantasy sports and all things Social Media? Across the latest trends, developing platforms and know where to find and engage new audiences? Creative? Able to manage social pages on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok - and know how to engage audiences on Reddit? Have experience with Photoshop, Canva or other graphics tools? Can edit audio and video? Know what excites and interests SuperCoach players? A bit of an all-rounder you might say. We have the role for you.
News Corp's National Sport Newsroom is looking for a newly created Social Media and digital producer role for SuperCoach and SuperCoach Tips - to join the team and assist with audience growth and engagement in creative ways.
We're a national team delivering SuperCoach content on four formats - AFL, NRL, BBL and NBL - published to some of Australia's biggest news and sports websites and their social platforms 7 days a week.
It's a high tempo role taking care of our Social Media execution, audience engagement and content production alongside a national SuperCoach team of editorial, marketing and growth experts. You'll need to know your AFL from your NRL, your draft night from your bye rounds and everything in between. We will need you for weekends and night shifts across a rotating roster.
Your main KPI is to attract, engage, and retain SuperCoach audiences and ensure content is providing a great customer experience, delivering in line with business objectives and is compliant with the regulatory environment we operate in.
This position can be based out of either our Southbank VIC, Surry Hills NSW, Bowen Hills QLD or Adelaide SA offices.
Role Responsibilities
Work alongside the SuperCoach and National Sports Newsroom Editorial teams, in conjunction with the NSN social team to deliver social activity - including posting content and engaging with audiences
Increase audience size and improve engagement on key Social Media channels
Protecting and enhancing brand reputation through Social Media
Proposing, delivering and analysing Social Media campaigns, initiatives and promotions
Production digital content to deliver across websites when required
Meet KPIs and acquisition targets
Ensuring high standards of Customer Service are maintained during customer contact via Social Media channels
Who are you?
In-depth knowledge and understanding of the main Social Media platforms
A passion for sport and fantasy sport
Understanding of emerging platforms and how they can bring in new audience and commercial opportunity
Experience in media industry preferred
Creative thinking and the ability to produce engaging content
Passion for digital story-telling and engaging audiences
Effective communication and motivation skills
Informed decision-making with ability to set and work with short-term, medium term and long-term targets
Excellent attention to detail and standard of both written and verbal English
Graphic design experience and tools skills, ideally Photoshop
Experience with third party social publishing platforms, ideally Emplifi
Audio and video editing an advantage
