About the Role
We are currently seeking a fixed term, full-time Commercial Superintendent, reporting to the Commercial Manager, for our Gunnedah open cut sites.
What you'll Do
Work with Mine and Functional Managers to develop detailed cost budgets/forecasts
Work with site personnel to ensure the effective recording of financial data against budget measures
Reviewing existing practices and processes to seek opportunities for improvement including streamlining, increased efficiencies and consistencies
Work across the business to educate on effective costing and commercial practices.
Assist the Commercial Manager in ensuring the timely completion of miscellaneous reporting and process requirements
What You'll Bring
Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce or Accounting
Professional membership of either CPA or CA
7-8 years' experience, with 3-4 years being in an operational role
Experience in a capital-intensive industry (preferably mining, manufacturing or heavy industry)
