DEVELOP has a hybrid business model - Mine Ownership and Mining Services Strategy.
The first of these centres on the exploration and production of future-facing metals. As part of this, the Company owns the Sulphur Springs copper-zinc-silver project in WA’s Pilbara region. This project is currently the focus of ongoing exploration to grow the inventory and various development studies. DEVELOP also owns the Woodlawn zinc-copper project in NSW. Woodlawn, which is on care and maintenance, comprises an underground mine, a significant JORC Resource and Reserve and a new processing plant.
The second plank of DEVELOP's strategy centres on the provision of underground mining services. As part of this, Develop has an agreement with Bellevue Gold (ASX: BGL) to provide underground mining services at its Bellevue Gold Project in WA.
Current Opportunity with DEVELOP:
DEVELOP currently have an opportunity for a Commercial Superintendentto join our team at our Woodlawn Project located in Tarago, NSW.
Reporting to the General Manager - Woodlawn, the Commercial Superintendent will be responsible for the operation of the site’s management and financial accounting functions and systems, as well as being the financial/commercial leader at our Woodlawn Project.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring the operations performance including P&L and capital expenditure review on a month-to-month basis.
- Pro-active cost review, reporting and communication to the site management team and various senior leaders.
- Managing a team of accounting, administration and stores personnel.
- Assist the corporate Accounts Payable and Purchasing departments to ensure costs and processes are relevant and accurate.
- Assistance in management of the operational revenue streams liaising with sales & logistics consultants as required.
- Capital work in progress tracking, analysis, and cost control for sustaining and growth capital projects.
- Management and reconciliation of the site related balance sheet items including inventory, Exploration and Evaluation, rehabilitation and site-based liability provisions.
- Assist the Finance Department with site related financial reporting requirements and financial records maintenance and compliance with the relevant statutory, regulatory, and accounting standard requirement.
- Support the annual budget process, working with the site department managers to deliver accurate and timely budget and LOM models.
- Liaise and reporting as required by NSW State departments (including but not limited to the NSW mines department and revenue departments) and ATO for GST and required business reporting
- Management/Maintenance of the ERP system (Pronto) Woodlawn Mine Data Set
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in a similar role and in the resource sector preferred
- Hold a post graduate accounting qualification (or working towards completion)
- Pronto XI experience preferred
- A high level of computer literacy in MS Office Suite applications
- Good knowledge of general accounting procedures
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment, as well as autonomously
- Flexibility to adapt to improved procedures and practices.

- Current National Police Clearance (or ability to apply)
- Ability to pass Pre-Employment Medical and D&A Screen
