IGA Team Member Positions Available
IGA is one of the largest Australian supermarket chains with a network over 1,400 independent family-owned business across the country. It is the proudly independent retail grocery brand in Australia. The most stores are independent family-owned store that sit at the heart of local communities across Australia, giving back and supporting local producers, suppliers and charities wherever possible. It is deeply connected to the local communities.
We are mainly looking for day-time staff who can work several times a week (particularly applicants with Deli work experience).
The skills and characteristics you will require are:
- Providing exceptional customer service.
- Excellent time management.
- Ability to work as a team with minimum supervision.
- Being honest, reliable, loyal, hardworking and self-motivated.
- Good understanding about the products, promotions and stock rotations.
- High attention to customer enquiries.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Maintain a high-level store image which includes regular cleanliness.
- Provide high-performance work in a team to meet the store targets.
- Strive to uphold ‘IGA Standards’.
- Previous experience in supermarkets (e.g. deli, fresh produce, perishable and grocery) is preferable.
IGA Upper Kedron is a family-owned store opening in September 2023. All applicants should be prepared to work evenings, weekends and public holidays when required.
