The opportunity now exists for a highly motivated Taproom Marketing and Special Events Coordinator to join our team. Based in Canberra, you will need be enthusiastic about showcasing our epic beers and stellar venue to Canberra, you’ll love being hands-on during our Taproom Events and brand activations, be passionate about execution, making sure every event is even better than the last, you’ll look for new opportunities to appeal to our loyal beer lovers, and also have a flare for creativity in marketing the events you design via our socials with the support of an incredible Marketing team
Role and Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities for revenue-driving event programs for Taproom, managing administration & ROI assessments as part of the events proposal process
- Provide detailed post-event summaries including accurate revenue figures and expenditure
- Develop and deliver our Good Natured Crew members program, including curating member’s events and activities designed to enhance the member experience and build brand advocates.
- Manages event equipment to maintain a high standard of functionality, cleanliness and operational efficiency.
- Liaises with the brand marketing team on merchandise development seasonally and for Special Events and launches
- Coordinate with the marketing team to promote Special Events taking place at the Taproom
- Develops and implement brewery tours, designing engaging content that delivers an exceptional guest experience that strengthens the brand and grows an additional revenue stream
- Training and development of Taproom Attendants in Brewery Tours, regularly attending to provide ongoing feedback and maintaining the quality of delivery
- Implement and oversee mystery shops at the Taproom to ensure our service is legendary at all times. Shares results with Taproom Managers and works collaboratively to ensure continuous improvement
You will bring:
- Exceptional communication skills, you will be able to produce concise and well considered event proposals and post-event summaries, and successfully convey complex concepts, ideas and results to a range of stake-holders
- Excellent relationship building skills, you’ll build trust and respect with internal and external stakeholders
- A keen eye for detail, and the drive to deliver a consistently high level of service to our customers
- Strong planning and organisational skills, you’ll be able to plan short, medium and long term to deliver an ongoing calendar of events
- Experience in managing budgets and financial reporting would be an advantage
- Experience within a hospitality setting would be an advantage
Hours will vary based on the Taproom Events calendar, and some weekend and evening work will be required.
