Your new role
As a Senior Lending Specialist, you will be based in the Mornington location, working weekdays Monday to Friday in the branch. This is a fully Branch Based role, with no working from home component.
In this role, 80% of your focus will be growing and maintaining the home loan and consumer lending portfolio, deposits and sales of general insurance. The remainder of your role will be on branch operations like teller duties as this is a small branch.
Some of the day-to-day responsibilities related to home-lending solutions will include:
- Making outbound calls to new and prospective members
- Proactively build 'new to bank' relationships as well as support existing customers with their home lending and personal lending goals
- Providing advice and solutions with the focus being to offer tailored solutions that best suit the customer
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have a strong home-lending background of at least 2 years. You will be looking to step into an autonomous role with little managerial supervision and be driven to progress your career. You'll be a person who loves dealing with people and not shy about picking up the phone!
