About the Role
Reporting to the Superintendent Ancillary Equipment Maintenance, you will be accountable for the supervision of the workgroup team to ensure the planned performance and integrity of the assigned fleet at the lowest practical cost.
You will lead, coach and mentor employees, ensure a safe system of work is in place for each activity, contribute to continuous improvement, reliability and quality maintenance and develop, communicate and execute the Mobile Equipment Maintenance work plan. As a Statutory 26 Appointed Person, you are required to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act and Mines Safety Inspection Regulations.
The roster is an 8&6 / 7&7 day shift / Nightshift
Maintaining a range of fleet including:

  • D10T2 & D11T CAT dozers,
  • 18M/24M graders,
  • WA1200 wheel loaders
  • 854K Wheelie Dozers
About You
Are you an inquisitive, team-spirited and outcome focused individual who is passionate about safety and have the ability to build great relationships within our team, than this is the next role for you!
You will ideally have significant experience with the operation and maintenance of heavy mining equipment. A strength of yours will be your ability to communicate efficiently, ensuring the development of staff through your influencing and relationship management skills. You will be a proactive, credible and influential member of the leadership team whilst building strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Current full manual driver's license.
  • Diploma in Frontline Management well regarded.
  • Statutory 26 appointed person
  • Previous experience working on dozers, graders & loaders on a mine site
  • Previous Supervisor experience in a mining environment
