Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.

Duties
  • Supervise, train and oversee the efficient allocation of work to a team of administrative and clerical officers to ensure that comprehensive, accurate and timely administrative support is provided to the Director of Public Prosecutions and other legal practitioners.
  • Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance measures and procedural guidelines.
  • Maintain the integrity of the Visual Files database and conduct training in the use of its functions.
  • Undertake word processing, audio typing, data entry, reception services and records management tasks.
  • Assist with other tasks as required at level.
Pre-employment Checks

The Head of State Service has determined that the person nominated for this vacancy is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer.

• Violent crimes and crimes against the person
• Sex-related offences
• Drug and alcohol related offences
• Crimes involving dishonesty
• Crimes involving deception
• Making false declarations
• Malicious damage and destruction to property
• Serious traffic offences
• Crimes against public order or relating to the Administration of Law and Justice
• Crimes against Executive or the Legislative Power
• Crimes involving Conspiracy

2. Disciplinary action in previous employment.

3. Identification check.

Desirable Requirements
  • Diploma in Business Administration or Business (Legal Services)
