Our Shepparton-based client seeks casual Support Workers for their established NDIS Support & Co-ordination business.
The role is based on community support, including assisting participants with attending appointments and community events, accompanying participants in the community and at home and other activities as required.
Job-specific training and mentoring are available.
Our client's participants include persons with culturally diverse backgrounds, experience working with or relevant personal experience will be seen favourably.
Required and preferred candidate qualities:
- Prior disability support work will be seen as advantageous but not required
- Industry relevant qualifications
- Candidates must have a valid driver's licence
- An up-to-date working with children's check
Successful applicants will be required to pass a police check satisfactorily.
Hourly rates follow the Social, Community Housing and Disability Support (SCHADS) Award.
