About the role:
The Mobile Maintenance team is currently seeking a Mobile HV Electrical Supervisor to join the team.
Reporting to the Superintendent Hauling & Ancillary, you will be responsible for leading and training a team of high voltage electricians, providing technical guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge in managing high voltage systems on heavy equipment.
Oversee the maintenance and repair of high voltage electrical systems on EH5000 and EH4000 haul trucks, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
Duties:
- Develop and implement high voltage safety procedures and protocols.
- Coordinate with the maintenance planning team to schedule high voltage equipment inspections and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot complex high voltage electrical faults and develop solutions to improve the reliability of the truck fleet.
- Manage the inventory of high voltage spare parts and tools, ensuring availability for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments on high voltage operations and take corrective actions to mitigate identified risks.
- Prepare and present reports on high voltage maintenance activities, performance metrics, and improvement initiatives to senior management.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in an Electrical Maintenance role which including experience in a Supervisory role.
- Experience in the mining and resources industry.
- Experience on large mining equipment
- HV trade cert desired but not required.
- C class manual drivers licence required.
