Our client, located in Traralgon, in south-eastern Victoria, Australia, is currently search of Supervisors and Senior Supervisors for their Mine Site Maintenance operations.
About your new role:
Due to a major contract win, multiple opportunities have arisen for Supervisors and Senior Supervisors to join the Programmed Maintenance team. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day control and supervision of Programmed’s maintenance and conveyor works within the mine in accordance with Mine Safety and Inspection requirements. Your strong leadership skills and ability to positively influence our safety culture will be crucial to your success.
- Lead the day-to-day control and supervision of mine maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with Mine Safety and Inspection requirements.
- Manage people, equipment, and execution of maintenance activities.
- Allocate duties across the maintenance team to deliver the plan and ensure all targets are achieved.
- Ensure compliance with the Mine Safety and Inspection Act and Mines Safety Inspection Regulations.
- Maximize compliance with the maintenance plan by ensuring all activities under your control are carried out according to the plan and work instructions.
- Minimize plant down time and react to breakdown and emergency works as required.
