AddressWe are a local family owned and operated business seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated Leading Hand to join the team. We have several exciting opportunities in upcoming Commercial Landscaping Projects across the Townsville region and would love to hear from you!
Our ideal candidate will have advanced experience in commercial & residential irrigation with a strong background in Landscaping along with the following attributes:
- Extensive experience in the commercial landscaping industry.
- Ability to carry out installation of irrigation designs as per the contracted scope of works and/or job brief.
- Qualified Landscaper or proven ability within the Landscaping Industry with strong experience in irrigation.
- Be physically fit to carry out an array of labouring duties.
- Confident in their abilities to supervise and lead current employees including (but not limited to) apprentices and trainees.
- Must hold a current ‘C’ class licence and on reliable transport to get to office daily.
- Must have current Construction White Card.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3+ years' experience in the commercial and residential irrigation/landscaping industry.
- Ability to demonstrate trade skills and knowledge in the industry and implement where applicable.
- Demonstrate proven knowledge of Irrigation design, products and installation; laying path, garden edging, excavation works and other areas in the industry that may be required/project specific.
- Maintain a collaborative and proactive approach onsite.
- Take initiative and supervise day to day work sites including existing staff and apprentices.
